Tiffany is a registered Midwife and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2012. Having trained and worked at the Newman Breastfeeding Clinic in Toronto, she has supported over 1000 families to reach their unique infant feeding goals.
Tiffany founded The Milk Clinic in 2022 to meet the needs of new families at a time of COVID-19 service disruptions. Tiffany is involved in various breastfeeding related initiatives at the local and Provincial Level including being a Board Member of the British Columbia Lactation Consultants Association, a member of the Penticton Regional Hospital’s Baby Friendly Initiative team, and the Provincial Infant and Young Child Feeding Committee. She is leading work for the Breastfeeding Systems Change project with a focus on supporting physicians and primary care providers in providing evidence based infant feeding care.
Tiffany is passionate about problem solving infant feeding challenges, and enjoys working with families to help them meet their own infant feeding goals.
Amanda has been practicing midwifery since 2009. She obtained her license through a bridging program in Ontario and spent her first year in practice there. She then worked in Vancouver for 10 years before moving to the Sunshine Coast and opening her practice in Sechelt. She obtained her IBCLC in 2021 and has been active in her community as an IBCLC, as well as working at Lactation clinics in Richmond, Vancouver and out of Richmond Hospital. She actively continues her education in lactation medicine and is passionate about helping families with their infant feeding.
